Cable Discs are small, low-profile hook-and-loop organizers, 1.4 inches in diameter, designed specifically for managing excess lavalier microphone cable on a wireless transmitter setup. When used with a WMB Belt Pac, a Cable Disc can be used to coil and secure the excess cable directly onto the pac so it stays contained throughout prep and performance, rather than trailing loose inside a costume or snagging during a quick change. Each Cable Disc also has a writable label surface (1.5" x 0.75") for identifying the pac by performer name, channel number, or any other production notation.
Yes. While Cable Discs are designed and sized for thin lavalier microphone cables, they can be used to organize any thin cable in a performance or storage context, including wired earbud and usb cables. The Cable Disc is best suited to cables 2-4mm in diameter and is not designed for heavier audio or power cables.
WMB Labels are low-profile pieces of Velcro Brand hook material that has a surface writable with Sharpie or permanent marker, sized at 1.5" x 0.75". They attach to the knit loop Velcro surface on the exterior of a WMB Belt Pac v2, an RF Rac, or any other WMB product with a loop surface, so each piece of gear can be clearly identified. Cable Discs are round (1.4" diameter) and are primarily for coiling and securing cable slack, though they also have a writable label surface. Labels are the better choice when the only need is identification; Cable Discs are the better choice when cable management is also needed.
Both Cable Discs and Labels come in black, tan, and white. The color choice is largely practical rather than decorative. Many productions use color coding to assign different colors to different performer groups, channels, or departments, making it faster to identify the right pac in a quick-change situation. Black is the most common all-purpose choice; tan and white are useful when pacs are worn against light skin tones or under light-colored costumes or uniforms where a dark accessory might be visible.
Yes. WMB Labels are specifically designed to stay attached through everyday performance and washing cycles when applied to a WMB Belt Pac v2. Cable Discs are made from the same low-profile Velcro Brand hook and loop materials and are equally wash-durable. Washing on a gentle cycle in cold water with mild detergent is recommended, and Belt Pacs with attached accessories should air dry only rather than go in a dryer.
The WMB Zippered Mesh Bag is a two-pocket mesh bag designed specifically for washing, drying, and organizing WMB Belt Pacs and elastic belts. Because Belt Pacs must air dry after washing and cannot go in a dryer, the Mesh Bag allows 10 to 15 pacs or belts to be washed together and then hung directly to dry without any additional hardware. The see-through netting lets air circulate freely, and the bag itself can hang from a clothes hanger or wardrobe rack using three silicone-backed straps with plastic snaps, which grip firmly enough to stay in place even on a moving rack.
The Mesh Bag has three straps with plastic snaps and silicone backing. Two straps attach at the top and one connects lower on the bag. The silicone backing grips the hanger rod or wardrobe rack bar without slipping, even when the bag is moved between spaces. The integrated lower snaps also allow multiple Mesh Bags to be connected together, which is useful for larger productions washing gear from multiple shows or departments at once. The overall bag dimensions are 19"H x 15"W, with two internal pockets each measuring 7"H x 13.5"W.
Yes. The bag is designed to go directly into the washing machine with the pacs or belts loaded inside. Its purpose is to keep the contents contained during the wash cycle, prevent Velcro from snagging on other laundry, and allow the load to go straight from the machine to the drying rack without unpacking. After washing, the bag can be hung from a hanger or wardrobe rack and the pacs will air dry inside it within approximately two hours in a well-ventilated area.
